INTERNATIONAL WOODWORKING MACHINERY

IW Machines (IWM / International Woodworking Machinery Ltd) was founded by the current owner, Ian Brown – former Managing Director of Wadkin, SCM, and the Homag Group both in the UK and overseas in Singapore. Ian has been involved in the woodworking industry since the age of 16 and brings over 50 years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for helping IWM customers find cost-effective solutions through his unrivalled industry knowledge.

This unique and extensive experience has earned IWM a respected position in the woodworking machinery sector – the envy of peers and competitors alike. We’re proud to offer expert advice on machinery and services that best suit your production requirements, always with a focus on cost-effective solutions from our wide range of new and used machinery.

At International Woodworking Machinery, we take the time to listen to your needs rather than offering generic advice. This approach enables us to deliver unique, tailored woodworking machinery solutions to meet your exact requirements.

IWM is proud to work closely with and represent a number of specialist woodworking machinery manufacturers, including Soukup, Falach, Alph Brush, Casadei Busellato, Lisy Dvorak, and Bacci – all of whom are leaders in the manufacture of machines for both the solid wood and panel industries.

Over the past 50 years, IWM Ltd has equipped countless workshops and businesses across the United Kingdom. We supply machinery for wooden window and door production, furniture production, renewable energy briquette manufacturing, and a full range of standard classical woodworking machines. Our mission is simple – to satisfy customer requirements with reliable and cost-effective equipment solutions.

We’ve recently opened our third IWM showroom and demonstration area in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. Conveniently located on Newark Business Park, it’s less than a mile from the A1 and the A46 link road to the M1 motorway, and just 1.4 miles from Newark North Gate Station on the London-to-Edinburgh line. (Our other two showrooms are located in Bicester and Leeds, in partnership with our sister company RW Machines) Click here for directions to our Newark Showroom

Customers are always welcome to visit or send samples to our Newark showroom. Whether you’re sending dust for testing our briquette machines, beading for the cross-cut or end scribe machines, or simply want to view, demonstrate, and trial our machines – we’re here to help you make sure the equipment you’re considering is exactly right for your needs.
