CNC working centre SPECTRA covers whole spectrum of machining operations of straight or curved pieces for windows and doors. The machine is intended as a small working centre for full machining of four knock down components at the same time or as amendment to the angular machining centre for milling and drilling operations, rebate change profiling etc.
Multifunctional CNC working centre for full machining of windows and doors components milling and drilling operations on profiled components. The SPECTRA’s robust machine construction, powerful drive units, intelligent user-friendly software and perfect ergonomics jointly contribute to meeting the customer’s highest expectations regarding performance and flexibility.
Spectra In Addition To An Angular Machining Centre
The connection of a separate SPECTRA machine to an angular machining centre is an indelicate combination of performance and complete machining of window and door components. While the angular center efficiently performs tenoning and profiling operations, the SPECTRA machine will drill or mortise muntin bars joints and do milling operations for hardware, hinges, door lock etc. Composition of the machine enables to make arched structures. Machine is dedicated to work from top and back side, with aggregates also to both heads of components. Intuitive control of the machine is provided by a Beckhoff PC with 15” touch screen which uses data from WinCreator or third-party software where machining and all macros are defined. Spectra can be linked to the main angular machine from which identification labels can be printed out allowing the drilled pieces to be scanned and processed at the next stage.
Spectra As A Multifunctional CNC Working Centre
The machine SPECTRA can independently provide full machining of windows and doors components and is an ideal solution for manufacturers looking for bespoke projects. The machine is equipped with 4 working tables with clamps for machining up to 4 pieces at the same time. The machine is easily set to do also arches, where the original solution makes this work easier and reliable. The CNC working features enable making different rebates on one piece to make opening/fixed glazing or inward/outward opening.

The Soukup Arcus Machining Centre has been specifically developed for manufacturers who need to produce arched or shaped windows and doors alongside their standard window production lines. When used in combination with the CRAFTER or WIZARD, individual components are accurately cut to length and set to the required end angles.
The prepared segments are then profiled on both the inside and outside using the Soukup Arcus Machining Centre. Once milling is complete, the components are pressed together to form the finished arch. Glazing beads are produced separately from board material and machined on both sides using the ARCUS. The machine is also suitable for machining door infill panels when used with a supporting table, with the prepared panel positioned using two zero reference points.

The Soukup Drillex Work Centre is designed for drilling and milling operations. This stand-alone machine can be easily linked to the WIZARD machine, where tenoned and profiled components are processed. The Soukup Drillex Work Centre is dedicated to work from the top and backside. Components that require drilling on the front side or in the heads are machined in single steps and then manually turned. The machine shares the same data and, when equipped with a barcode device, the setup of the working program is automatic. The operator places one piece on two moving tables, which are set up according to the working program.
The right table is fixed and serves long pieces with complex drilling or milling requirements. Ordinary components are clamped using the two moving tables only. Once the timber is fixed, the 3-axis Soukup Drillex Work Centre performs all drilling operations on the component, such as holes for hinges, olives, door lock cases, and dowel drilling in the longitudinal direction. For drilling from another side, the operator turns the piece to complete the process. For head drilling, the operator uses the additional table on the fixed clamping table. The machine is linked to the WinCreator operating program or compatible third-party software.

The Soukup Versa CNC Window Machine allows you to drill holes for dowel connections or mortise slots. The lateral NC-controlled working unit has 3 axes and enables drilling to any schema, as well as mortising slots for tenons. Additionally, the Soukup Versa CNC Window Machine supports door lock pocket milling, hinge seats, bevelled louvre mortises, and front rounding of tenons.
Intuitive control of the Soukup Versa CNC Window Machine is provided by a Beckhoff PC with a 10” touch screen, which uses data from WinCreator where all macros are defined. Construction joints, hinges, and handle positions are derived from the window design dimensions. Another option is the direct insertion of macros on the element or the use of previously created templates stored in the library. The control system is also open to third-party software packages.

The Soukup Wizard Tenon CNC Window Machine incorporates thoroughbred industrial design based on the successful WIZARD machining centre. It features a generous spindle length of 620 mm with an upper supporting bearing and is designed for easy tool replacement. The machine can achieve multi-faceted processing of timber during a single pass. These are the main features of the Soukup Wizard Tenon CNC Window Machine.
The Soukup Wizard Tenon CNC Window Machine has been designed for tenoning of all types of timber frame construction, particularly for windows and doors. The base of the tenoning machine is constructed from heavy, rib-structured steel to provide a solid, compact machine that is rigid and highly resistant to heavy loads and stress.
The tenoning unit moves on precision linear bearings driven by a precision ball screw. The cut-off saw and the tenoning fence have electronic adjustment. The tenoning carriage moves on linear bearings with variable speed controlled by an inverter drive. The tenoning fence can swivel up to 60° under programmable control. All units are connected to a central lubrication system. During operation, the operator places two pieces of timber on the tenoning table, selects a program, and sets the tenoning fence to the length specified in the work list.
Timbers are tenoned while moving forwards and backwards through the machine, making it possible to create multiple profiles in a single operation. The Soukup Wizard Tenon CNC Window Machine is controlled by a BECKHOFF industrial PC with a 12” touch screen running a Windows Embedded operating system. The control unit is mounted on a swivelling panel to ensure ease of use for the operator.

The Soukup Wizard 4L Machine machining centre comprises two independent machines, one for tenoning and one for profiling. The Soukup Wizard 4L Machine can be controlled as an integrated working centre or as two independent machines via an industrial PC running specialised control software, with the operator interacting through a touch screen panel.
The capacity of the Soukup Wizard 4L Machine is approximately 30–40 single-leaf UK windows per shift using the traditional technique of outside milling of sashes. The machine can produce around 60 knock-down windows by using the left working spindle for milling from both sides.
The Wizard 4L model, with its unique configuration, enables pre-squaring production. The tenoning operation is carried out by spindles long enough to accommodate all types of tenoning tools. SOUKUP’s unique tenoning cycle tenons and mills the outer shape of the timber end in a time-efficient manner. The dual configuration of the left and right profiling spindles ensures precision, which is essential for this system. As only a single machine operation is involved, the process is both fast and accurate. All units are driven by high-speed brushless motors, and the long gear feeder guarantees smooth surface finishes.
