The IWM Soukup Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Surface Planer 500mm offers exceptional performance and build quality, featuring a 500 mm working width and 2600 mm long precision-ground tables. Engineered for accuracy and reliability, this advanced Surface Planer 500mm includes an electronic rise and fall system with digital display, allowing precise infeed table adjustments typically found only in premium German machines. The spiral block and electronic infeed table adjustment improve cutting efficiency while reducing setup time, while the “Super Silent” helical cutterblock ensures a smoother, quieter operation with an outstanding surface finish.

For maximum safety and convenience, all key functions are housed in an over-table control cabinet, including Star Delta Start/Stop, Isolator, Emergency Stop, and Electronic Brake Release. An externally mounted electrical cabinet protects components from dust and debris, extending the machine’s service life. European-manufactured exclusively for IWM, the PL500 Surface Planer 500mm is a powerhouse of precision, durability, and efficiency—built to perform in professional woodworking workshops.
