    • You are producing timber frame components from cutting lists and need automatic length measurement and servo-driven feed to maintain consistent accuracy across high volumes
    • Your crosscutting is all at 90° and you do not need angled cuts — this machine is optimised for square crosscutting and is simpler to specify and operate as a result
    • You are working with structural softwood or engineered timber up to 120 mm in section height and up to 6 m in standard length (or up to 12 m with extended configuration)
    • You want a machine that an operator can load a cutting list into and run with minimal intervention, reducing labour cost per component

    Consider an alternate model if...

    • You need to cut compound or angled crosscuts — the Soukup Crossline 650 Automatic Angle Cross Cut Saw handles angular cutting up to ±70° and may be more appropriate for rafter or roof component work
    • Your volume does not justify a fully automated feed system — the Soukup Crossline 500 (non-M) may offer the same cutting capacity at lower capital cost if manual feeding is acceptable
    • Your workshop cannot accommodate nearly 12 m of floor length even in its standard configuration — discuss space constraints with IWM before proceeding
