CNC Cross Cut Saws

CNC crosscut saws bring computer-controlled automation to the crosscutting process, allowing operators to program cut lists, set lengths with precision, and repeat the same cut reliably across a full batch. Where a manual or semi-automatic saw relies on the operator to position each piece, a CNC machine removes that variable and reduces the short-end waste that quietly adds up over a shift.

These machines suit workshops where throughput matters and cut lists are either complex or high in volume — joinery production, timber processing, and frame manufacturing are typical applications. The right specification depends on your timber sizes, the length of your cut lists, and how your material flows through the shop.

If you are considering a CNC crosscut saw and want to talk through what will actually work for your operation, speak to IWM. We have been specifying crosscut solutions for British workshops for over fifty years and will give you a straight answer.
