Wide Belt Sanders

Wide belt sanders are a staple of any workshop that needs to surface timber, panels, or veneered boards consistently and to a reliable finish. One or more abrasive belts run over precision rollers to level and refine surfaces across the full width of the workpiece — removing tool marks, levelling glue lines, and preparing stock for finishing in a single pass or sequence of passes.

They suit a wide range of applications: joinery and furniture production, panel processing, solid-wood components, and veneered sheet goods. Most machines allow you to adjust sanding pressure, feed speed, and belt grit to match the material and the finish required, so the same machine can handle both rough dimensioning work and fine finishing.
