Window & Door Cramps

Window and door cramps are the workhorses of any joinery shop producing frames, windows, or doors in volume. Their job is straightforward: hold the assembled components square and under even pressure while the adhesive cures, so every joint closes cleanly and the finished frame comes out true.

Most cramps in this category will handle both open and closed tenon construction, and you will generally find a choice of hydraulic or manual clamping arrangements depending on your throughput and budget. The right configuration depends on your typical frame sizes, the number of openings you run per day, and the space available in your workshop.

If you are unsure which type suits your production, talk to us at IWM. We have been specifying joinery machinery for British workshops for over 50 years and are happy to work through the options with you before you commit to anything.
