Used 2 Bag Charnwood W692 3hp Double Bag Dust Extractor

The 2 Bag Charnwood extractor is the largest model aimed at workshops where extraction is not continuously required. These more powerful machines, with larger diameter fans, deliver a higher airflow rate per hour.

The two collection bags are filled together, reducing the frequency of emptying. The 2 Bag Charnwood extractor can be used to collect dust from up to three machines simultaneously or connected to a system of branches and gates fitted around the workshop. The maximum recommended hose length per run is 10 metres at a 100 mm diameter.

Supplied with 5-micron filter bags, transparent collection bags, a durable steel fan, NVR switch, four castors, quick-release metal straps, a three-way inlet, and a 1.6 m power cable with a 16-amp industrial plug.

A 16-amp fixed electrical supply is required to operate this machine, and the use of a 16-amp Type C breaker is recommended.

Hose is not supplied as standard; a 100 mm diameter transparent hose is recommended and sold by the metre.

This 2 Bag Charnwood extractor is intended for light trade use, with a maximum continuous running time of two hours, after which the motor must be rested and allowed to cool. For longer duty cycles, a professional heavy-duty extractor range is recommended.

The filtration level on this machine can be upgraded to 1 micron by adding two CF2024 filter cartridges

Joinery Workshop

Joinery Workshop · IWM

The machines in your workshop determine how fast you work.

A well-specified joinery workshop builds around machines that work together. The wrong combination — or the wrong capacity for your volume — creates bottlenecks that no amount of operator skill will fix.

/ The Challenge

The wrong spec. A decade of bottlenecks.

/ Our Position

Machinery decisions in a joinery workshop tend to be permanent. You're not replacing a planer every three years — you're living with the choice for a decade. Getting the specification wrong at the start, or when you're scaling up, is an expensive mistake.

We've been specifying joinery workshop machinery for British workshops since 1974. We carry a wide range specifically because every workshop's needs are different — and we'd rather take longer to find the right fit than move a machine quickly.

Our Joinery Workshop Range

/ Why IW Machines

Why joinery workshops keep coming back.

Specifying a workshop is a once-in-a-decade decision. We treat it like one.

  • Fifty years on the workshop floor.

    - 01

Three generations of specifying machinery for British joinery. We've seen the trends pass; we know which manufacturers still build to last and which ones look better in a brochure than they do after two years.

  • UK-wide delivery and commissioning.

    - 02

Our engineers install, calibrate and train your team on-site. Anywhere in the UK, typically within four weeks of order confirmation.

  • A range that covers the full workshop.

    - 03

From bandsaws and panel saws to spindle moulders, planers, and tenoners — we can specify an entire workshop or a single replacement machine. Direct relationships with manufacturers across the range.

  • Consultative, not commission-driven.

    - 04

We will recommend the smaller machine if it's the right one. We will tell you to wait. The relationship matters more than the order.

Briquette & Wood Waste

Wood Waste · IWM

Turn your wood waste into usable fuel.

If your workshop generates shavings, wood dust, or offcuts, a briquette machine turns that waste stream into something genuinely useful. Reduce skip costs, offset your heating bills, and put your extraction waste to work.

/ The Challenge

Skip costs. Haulage. Waste you keep paying for.

/ Our Position

Wood waste is a cost you pay twice — once to generate it, again to dispose of it. At production scale, that adds up quickly, and most disposal routes are getting more expensive, not less.

We've been specifying briquette presses for British workshops for decades. We'll tell you honestly whether your waste volumes and moisture content make it viable, and which machine fits your output — not which one suits us best to sell.

Our Briquette & Wood Waste Range

/ Why IW Machines

Four reasons waste-conscious workshops come to IWM.

The right press pays for itself. The wrong one just takes up floor space.

  • Decades of waste machinery experience.

    - 01

We've specified briquette presses for workshops across the UK. We know which machines handle fine dust, which cope with mixed species, and which ones actually last.

  • UK-wide delivery and commissioning.

    - 02

Our engineers install and commission on-site, anywhere in the UK. We train your team and don't leave until the machine is running correctly.

  • Honest about viability.

    - 03

If your volumes don't justify a press, we'll tell you. If a smaller model does the job, we'll recommend it. The relationship matters more than the transaction.

  • Direct manufacturer relationships.

    - 04

We work directly with Falach, BrikStar, and Robust. Real lead times, real parts availability, and technical support from people who know the machines.
